My Journey: Why I Created Cernova Aesthetics

Welcome to Cernova Aesthetics, a place where transformation is not just about the surface—it’s about healing from within. I’m passionate about creating a space where people can embark on their own journeys of self-discovery and transformation, just as I did.

My story is one of overcoming adversity. I’ve faced my own battles with skin issues and the pressures of societal expectations.

At 16 years old I vividly remember waking up after another painful restless night and going to the bathroom.  As the morning sun was shining through the window I looked into the mirror and I hated what I saw.  My face was a canvas of acne –  angry mix of spots; pustules, cysts, whiteheads, blackheads and  my entire face felt heavy with them covering me. I felt as though there was no escape. I didn’t want to go to school, I didn’t even want to leave my house. 

On that morning a passion was ignited in me and I vowed to learn how to overcome my skin condition and embrace my natural beauty.

With a degree in aesthetics and NVQ 4/5 levels in IPL, laser and ultrasound treatments, as well as over two decades of experience as an aesthetic practitioner and clinical trainer,  I have had a privilege of working alongside award-winning doctors in prestigious locations across the UK and Ireland. This journey has made me an expert in combining treatments that surpass traditional aesthetics. I am committed to continuous learning and growth in this dynamic field.

Today, not only am I helping clients overcome nasty acne, but I specialise in skin, anti-ageing and body treatments. I combine topical products with the most advanced energy devices such as laser, ultrasound, and radio frequency, along with customised nutrition plans. I realised that true beauty is more than just what we see on the outside.  In Cernova Aesthetics I have created a sanctuary where I help people to transform themselves in a deeply personal way. There’s nothing more rewarding than making a positive impact on someone’s life

My experiences have taught me that inner well-being is intrinsically connected to outer radiance. I combine diverse treatment protocols with a holistic approach, infusing my energy and expertise into every aspect of my practice. I will help empower you to embrace your natural beauty and find true well-being.
